While we don’t tend to travel the same huge distances to go to weddings here in Ireland, they are still something to consider. Indeed many of us have relatives who can fly in from far flung places such as Australia and if you’re having a destination wedding in another country, but beyond that it’s a nice way to make your guests feel welcome and is a very personal touch that will make a huge difference to them. The only downsides to these bags is the cost and the time. Producing a welcome bag for each guest will cost money and generally speaking you’ll be filling these bags yourself, which can take time, so keep this in mind.
