We had our dream wedding at Dromoland Castle and Kate Deegan was highly recommended by the castle coordinator. We first met Kate months prior to our big day when we arranged to meet her at Killashee House. Unfortunately we gave Kate the details of another hotel several miles away from the meeting point and when we realised our mistake and informed Kate, she was not phased at all and she continued on her journey from Limerick to meet us. The weather was horrible that evening yet Kate arrived on time with a smile on her face despite our confusing arrangements & directions. From that moment on, we realised that we could not have had our dream wedding without Kate by our side for each and every step of the way. Not once did Kate complain or react badly to ALL of our questions, suggestions, changes and even on the day of the wedding Kate would drop everything at a moment’s notice to run from one end of the castle to the other, whenever we needed her. Kate made everything so easy and relaxing for us both on our big day.

Kate is so incredibly professional and attentive and wonderful in every way. Kate made every moment enjoyable and we could have a laugh together yet still being serious as we planned our big day.

If a problem presented itself, Kate would have a solution for us before we even knew of the problem. Her ability to remain calm and collected at all times still amazes us both. Kate has a wealth of experience and her remarkable ability to do her job beyond brilliance is simply rare indeed. We cannot commend Kate enough, she is courteous, friendly, attentive, supportive, extremely professional, polite, experienced, polished, efficient, complementary, respectful, thoughtful, well-spoken… and so much more.

The set-up at the castle was breathtakingly beautiful and to add to that, Kate even took her own pictures of the day which we have to say were on par with our professional photographer! We found ourselves saying “is there anything she can’t do” J

If you find yourself asking the question “do I need a wedding planner” then do yourself a favour and call Kate Deegan. Kate’s fees are absolutely extremely well priced when compared to the amount of work involved and it goes without saying that Kate has our vote for every possible award relating to her work. We miss our wedding day so very much and we miss Kate just the same. Hiring Kate and her team will be the best decision you’ll ever make, other than your decision to get married haha.
